Quilt Update
Patsy and James Wesley have completed quilts #2 and #3 after hours of loving labor this summer! Quilt #2, "God's Love is Everywhere" is a beautiful collection of colors and glimpses of hope! Quilt #3, "For God So Loved the World", is a direct testament to the reason why the Cyndie Parks Memorial Home is in existence. It's beauty centers around a royal purple cross in the middle. Patsy and James are working on their fourth quilt for an upcoming diabetic girl to receive. The Home thanks these two dear supporters for their faith and loving support!

Preparing for Future Residents, CPMHG Supporters Step Out in Faith and Love to Create Quilts
Dardanelle residents Patsy and James Wesley have been quietly and steadily working to create quilts that will be cherished keepsakes. These works of "heart" will belong to future residents of the Cyndie Parks Memorial Home for Girls and/or foster children it supports in specialized foster homes. Patsy created the patterns by which the 4ftx4ft quilts were made. Bursting with cheerful color, each quilt made will have a signature yellow butterfly, as yellow and butterflies were two of Cyndie Park's favorite things. The combination of hearts, butterflies, and flowers are showcased together with a lively "Popsicles" fabric. The name of the quilt is "Looking Through a Window at God's Creation". Mrs. Wesley felt this was an appropriate title as one cannot set foot outside without appreciating all God has made.

Dear Friends and Supporters,
At our last board meeting held 2-1-11, the board decided to continue to actively live and work ever toward our mission of "Utilizing Christ-centered principles to empower young teens with diabetes to become healthy, confident, pro-active young adults" even as we are still in the midst of raising funds for the actual home. Our short-term goal for 2011 is to help establish 2 foster homes in Arkansas dedicated specifically for teens in need with Type 1 Diabetes. We see this being accomplished in direct association with The C.A.L.L. in Arkansas. Please prayerfully consider how you can be a part of this service to teens in need.
